Dir, Financial Planning & Analysis - Eclipsys Corp -
Responsibilities: The Director/Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will be an integral part of a five person FP&A team that drives the analytical needs of Eclipsys Corporation. Areas of analytical focus include business segment profitability, operational trend analysis, and cost containment. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of annual budgets, as well as the creation and communication of forecasts and variance analyses throughout the year. This position will serve as a business partner to the operational leads, assisting them in making decisions that achieve objectives while maintaining fiscal discipline. The Director/Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis also mentors and develops the analyst team to broaden their skills and to meet their personal career objectives.
Qualifications: An ability to foster relationships with senior leaders in the company is a must. A thorough understanding and background in driving strategies based on managing operating plans/budgets and forecasts is essential. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive, and team oriented professional with 7-10 years financial/business analysis and planning experience. A BS/BA in Finance or Accounting is required. MBA preferred. Solid understanding of financial modeling specifically identifying cost and revenue drivers is required as well as a thorough understanding of a software and software services business. Excellent communication and organizational skills, demonstrate initiative and have great attention to detail. Strong presentation skills and proven ability to relate to all levels of management. Experience with Oracle, Clarity Systems (SQL based performance management/budgeting system), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint is a plus.
College - Degree in Finance or Accounting
